Losses at its Irish stores may put a brake on expansion by home furnishings and electrical retailer, Courts, which has stores in Dublin on the Naas Road and in Blanchardstown as well as an electrical products concession in Arnotts, Dublin. Courts recorded a 60 per cent rise in profit to £47.9 million sterling (€61 million) on turnover up 19.6 per cent at £658 million.
