LIBERTY, the troubled stores and fabrics group, is to close all 20 of its branch operations in Britain with the loss of 350 jobs.

The move, which will cost the company £5 million, means it will concentrate on its flagship Regent Street store in central London, its airport shops and three Muji outlets operated under a joint venture agreement.

Further restructuring details are due on June 7th when the group publishes annual results.
