Leading financial services and insolvency lawyer Paul Dobbyn is to join the Dublin office of international law firm Maples Calder on May 1st as a new partner. He will lead the firm’s growing insolvency practice.

Mr Dobbyn was a partner in A&L Goodbody for 20 years before training as a barrister in 2006 and practising at the commercial bar. Maples has poached partners and lawyers at the “big five” Irish law firms – four from A&L Goodbody and three from Matheson Ormsby Prentice.
