A Limerick finance consultant who is facing larceny and forgery charges was further remanded on bail until July 8th when he appeared in court in the city yesterday.

Mr Patrick Foote, (43), with an address at William Street, Limerick, faces 61 charges of larceny and forgery involving £174,441 between 1996 and 1997. Mr Foote is former director of the Irish Mortgage and Finance Bureau, O'Connell St, Limerick.

Garda Inspector Gerry McNamara told Judge Michael Reilly there was a considerable file with the Director of Public Prosecutions and it was a very complex case. He asked for a further remand because the book of evidence was not yet ready.
