Kitchenware's £2m new export division

Dublin-based household goods company Kitchenware Products plans to invest £2 million (€1.57 million) to establish a new business unit and export division. This is in addition to a £10 million expansion into the British and European markets.

The new business unit, to be based in Ascot, will specialise in supplying food utensils to the British retail sector. Kitchenware wants to generate sales worth some £15 million sterling (€26 million) in the market within three years. If successful, this would more than double its reported turnover of £15 million last year.
