THE Margin liked the comment made by Ireland's Ambassador to Britain, Mr Edward Barrington, who welcomed visitors to a presentation of Irish food and drink held in London during the week.

Mr Barrington, who, like most, fought his way through the traffic jams in London caused by Nelson Mandela's triumphant visit, noted that while "there were many drawbacks to ambassadorial life, malnutrition is not one of them".
