JONES Group has appointed Mr Eugene Greene as chairman designate. He will take over from Mr Denis Magee, who had previously announced his intention to retire. Mr Greene takes over the chairmanship in May before the next annual general meeting. He is a former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a director of Boxmore International and chairman of the Henry Street/Mary Street Partnership.
