More than 1,300 jobs are likely to be created in the west over the next three years as part of a major initiative to revitalise areas of greatest need throughout the country, according to the Minister for Local Development, Mr Gay Mitchell. He was speaking at the launch of the Leitrim Partnership Development Board's action plan for the Drumshambo area.
