A US manufacturer of sterile brushes for dental practitioners is to establish a subsidiary in Dungarvan, Co Waterford, creating 30 jobs over three years.

Microbrush Corporation stated that as it has 35 per cent of its sales in Europe, it was taking the strategic decision to establish a base in Ireland. Mr Gunnar Wallin, the company's president, cited the financial support from Avonmore Waterford Group Development Fund as one of the reasons why it was locating in Dungarvan.
