THERE were fears in Dundalk, Co Louth, yesterday of significant job losses at the Keytronic plat in the town.

The workers are awaiting a company announcement next week in which they fear they will be told that the workforce will be reduced to under 100. However, industry sources said it was too early to predict what management in the US would decide.

Keytronic manufactures keyboards for the computer industry and employed up to 600 workers up to last Christmas.
