The Government has "a golden opportunity" to restructure the public sector by offering incentives to State employees to work in the private sector, the chief executive of the small firms lobby group, Mr Frank Mulcahy, has said. He said that a three-year sabbatical leave option for public servants would enable savings to be made on the public sector pay bill.
