The Huffington Post has launched a new edition in the UK promising readers a “one-stop shop” for information and comment. Some well-known Irish figures will be blogging on the site, including economist David McWilliams, chef Conrad Gallagher and television gardener Diarmuid Gavin.

They will join high profile UK bloggers such as Tony Blair, Jeremy Hunt and Sarah Brown, as well as comedians and celebrities such as Ricky Gervais, Tracey Ullman, Imogen Edwards-Jones, Jonathan Meades and Kate Garraway. – (PA)
