IONA Technologies, an Irish owned software company based in Dublin, has tripled its staff over the past 12 months and now employs more than 100 people. At the same time, the software house has moved into bigger offices in Dublin and Boston and is opening an office in Perth, Australia next week, where eight staff will be based. Founded in 1991, Iona now earns 70 per cent of its revenue in the US market. Iona is an industry leader in software development for object technology.
