Enterprise Equity, the venture capital arm of the International Fund for Ireland, has invested £500,000 (€635,000) in Leitrim firm Merenda. Merenda specialises in making veneers for use by office and top of the range furniture manufacturers. It employs 45 people and operates out of a 30,000 sq ft factory at Manorhamilton.
