Small investors will be protected from defaulting investment and insurance companies after a new bill is introduced in July, according to the Minister of State for Finance, Mr Martin Cullen. The bill which was partly prompted by the collapse of the Tony Taylor group of companies, will be consumer oriented, protecting the small investor and "small players in the market", Mr Cullen said.
