MR Frank Murray, the Secretary to the Government, has been appointed chairman of the Institute of Public Administration at its a.g.m.

Mr Murray (Yight) was appointed to his current job in January 1993, having previously been Assistant Secretary to the Government since 1983.

He was also appointed Civil Service Commissioner in 1993 and an ex-offico member of the Top Level Appointments Committee.
