THE number of mobile phone subscribers will rise by around 130,000 this year and, of these, 80,000 phones will be for personal rather than corporate use, according to Cellular World, a specialist cellular phone retailer. The figure represents a 70 per cent increase in users of mobile phones, Cellular World's commercial director, Mr Conor Headon, said yesterday. His company has announced a £1 million investment plan. It entails opening 19 new retail outlets this year and creating 25-30 new jobs.
