Symonds Cider & English Wine Company, part of the H.P. Bulmer group and the world's largest cider maker, and Showerings (Ireland) Ltd, part of Cantrell & Cochrane and the market leader in domestic cider sales, were seeking orders against each other in respect of scrumpy cider.
