Irish Marine Oil (IMO) has completed the first phase of exploration on two gold licences on the Wexford/Wicklow border. Three drill holes have been completed to a depth of 414 metres and have all shown significant gold mineralisation, according to the company. Further drilling will take place to determine whether the gold is commercial.
