IMI set conference date

THE Irish Management Institute will hold its national management conference in Limerick on October 18th

THE Irish Management Institute will hold its national management conference in Limerick on October 18th. The conference will focus on Ireland's "weakening competitive position", IMI chief executive, Mr Barry Kenny said yesterday.

Speakers at the conference will include, Mr Klaus Schwab, president of the World Economic Forum in Geneva, Mr Gary Hamel of the London Business School and Mr Nicholas Negroponte of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who will address the conference by video link. The conference will be held at the University Concert Hall in Limerick.
