IRISH Fertiliser Industries had re appointed Mr Niall Welch as its chairman for a three year period, the company said in a statement last night. The post rotates ever three years between appointees of IFI's largest shareholders, NET and ICI. Mr Welch, who runs an accountancy practice in Cork city, is chairman of NET and a director of IDA Ireland.
