Financial services group IFG has appointed Mr John Lawrie, the chairman of Aberdeen Asset Management Ireland, as a non-executive director. Aberdeen Asset Management manages the Scottish Provident investment business and Mr Lawrie managed Aberdeen's Irish equity portfolio for over 25 years.
