THE UK based computer group ICL has moved a step closer to its ultimate aim of floating on the London stock market with a number of senior management moves.

One of the main changes involves Mr Michio Naruto, the executive vice president of ICL's controlling shareholder, taking over as non executive chairman.

He replaces Sir Peter Bonfield, who announced his intention to step down when he became chief executive of BT just over a year ago.
