DUBLIN BASED plastics components manufacturer, Irish Custom Extruders (ICE), has won the Bord Trachtala Supplier of the Year award.

The award was presented to ICE managing director, Mr Tony Dunne, yesterday, by the Minister for Industry and Trade, Mr Kenny.

The company, which designs and manufactures PVC and other plastic components for truck trailers, fridges, showers and windows, employs 24 people.

ICE was selected by Irish purchasing managers for its "outstanding professionalism and its all round quality service to customers", according to Bord Trachtala.

ICE plans to increase employment at its new facility in Dublin by 50 per cent over the next two years.
