Botswana Development Corporation (BDC) - the government's investment arm - has appointed ICC Bank of Ireland as project managers to set up an International Financial Services Centre in Botswana, press reports said yesterday.

The BDC said in a statement that the ICC Bank, which is renowned for playing a leading role in setting up the Dublin International Financial Services Centre is expected to start its work in Botswana next year.
