Hewlett-Packard has entered into a strategic agreement to sell Baltimore Technologies' Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) security products, including its flagship UniCERT system, through the HP global sales network.

HP will now use Baltimore's products when providing organisations with advanced security for a broad range of e-commerce applications. The agreement is significant for Baltimore because it is HP's first PKI offering, just as PKI technology is gaining acceptance among organisations as the framework for building and managing secure solutions for e-commerce and e-business.

As part of the agreement, HP will now become a member of Baltimore's "TrustedWorld" business alliance partner program.
