PRINCIPAL Hotels, a British hotel group which operates the Bewleys Hotel in Fleet Street, Dublin, is to seek a share quotation in London next month. It will be capitalised at about £100 million sterling. The flotation will be effected through a placing of shares.

Principal has 21 hotels, including 16 in England and others in Dublin, Edinburgh, Copenhagen and Amsterdam. It owns all the hotels with the exception of the Dublin hotel which is owned by the Campbell Bewley Group. Principal has a 10 year management agreement to operate it.

Principal generated an operating profit of £8.1 million sterling, on turnover of £42.6 million, in the year ended October 29th 1995.
