Hot start-ups get helping hand

HotOrigin, a new Irish dot

HotOrigin, a new Irish dot.com incubation company targeting entrepreneurs and corporates seeking to set up online businesses has been established by three former associate partners of Andersen Consulting.

Mr David Dalton, a director of the firm, said that there are very few companies in Ireland capable of helping dot.coms progress and develop and HotOrigin hopes to fill this gap by providing a full range of start-up services.

Funding, business strategy, technology solution design, legal and tax advice, marketing expertise and management advice will be provided by HotOrigin in return for an equity stake in the start ups.
