Hewlett-Packard’s plans to reduce its global workforce by 3,000 jobs over three years – by cutting 9,000 jobs and creating 6,000 new ones – are not expected to have any impact on its Irish operations.

HP is consolidating and reorganising its data centre operations, but this is not a business that it carries out in Ireland. The printer and computer giant employs about 4,000 people in Dublin, Galway and Belfast.
