Site work on Green Property's factory outlet centre in Killarney will begin in the New Year, the group has announced. Scheduled to open early in spring, 1999, it will employ 250 people. Green has taken a 250-year lease of the former railway goods year from CIE and it has already secured planning permission on the five acre site for a 90,000 sq ft centre, with vehicle parking. The centre will be on two sites and will contain 46 units.
