ABN-Amro is recommending Grafton as a buy for investors on the back of another strong set of results. The shares are currently trading at a premium to UK peers but the brokers stress the absolute valuations are attractive. ABN-Amro has raised its forecasts for earnings per share growth at Grafton at the end of the year by 5 per cent to €2.4 (£1.89) and in 2001 to €2.78.
