MR PETER Goulandris, Dr Tony O'Reilly's brother in law, has further increased his share holding in Fitzwilton. Mr Goulandris, who, according to a company source, bought over £2 million worth of Fitzwilton shares yesterday, now owns 12.44 per cent of the company, making him its third largest shareholder. Dr O'Reilly, Fitzwilton's chairman, holds the biggest stake of 14.56 per cent, followed by the British Fund management group, Phillips & Drew Fund Management.

Other investors who support the board are thought to control sufficient shares to give the O'Reilly camp control of over 50 per cent of the group's shares.
