THE Minister for Enterprise and Employment, Mr Bruton, who must be dizzy making announcements of hundreds of jobs here and hundreds of jobs there, was at it again this week. The Minister announced approval of IDA Ireland support for a £20 million expansion for the Dell Computer operation in Limerick, which will create 500 extra full time jobs and 250 contract positions.

The Minister also announced 93 jobs for Shannon in a plant to be set up by Canadian company,

NTS Computer Systems, and 475 jobs for Drogheda in a DSC Communications Corporation plant. Another week another 1,000 jobs...
