Britain's biggest regional newspaper group Trinity International, which owns the Belfast Telegraph and recently purchased the Sunday Business Post, yesterday announced a 39 per cent rise in half-year earnings. The company boosted pre-tax profits in the six months to June 29th to £32 million sterling from £23.8 million in the first half of 1996.
