Good deals for high-flyers

Nothing like a good summer deal especially when, with a little intelligence, you can get your company to pick up the tab. After years of charging the full whack, both Air France and British Airways are doing deals on trans-Atlantic Concorde flights.

"Purchase a round-trip l'Espace 127 (business class) ticket from Dublin via Paris to new York," says Air France, "and fly from New York to Paris on Concorde - a free upgrade!"

There are, of course, restrictions. You must purchase the full fare, seven days before departure, and it is only valid from September to March

Then there is another deal, for those who pay the full Concorde fare from Dublin to New York, via Paris - a snip at £5,354. With this, a companion fare is available for a mere £2,677. Restrictions apply here too: must include a Saturday night stay, must be bought four days before departure.

Meanwhile, British Airways is offering its own "London in Style" package, complete with hotel rooms and airport transfers.
