THE battle between Ardagh Glass and Quinn Glass over planning at the latter’s plant in Cheshire has ended.

The English Court of Appeal this week rejected a claim by Ardagh that Cheshire West and Cheshire Council had no jurisdiction to grant retrospective planning permission for the plant.

The court refused leave to appeal its decision to the Supreme Court.
