THE Small Firms Association has called for the Minister for Finance to resist calls for spending increases.

The assistant director of the SFA Mr Pat Delaney urged the minister Mr Quinn to resist attempts by Government ministers to secure budgets in excess of the 2 per cent agreed parameters.

He also called for the establishment of a public expenditure review group to carry out impact assessments on public expenditure.
