A major multinational healthcare firm, which employs more than 470 people in Donegal, has hinted that it may expand its operations in Ireland, writes Chris Ashmore.

United Health Group’s chief financial officer Dave Wichmann yesterday noted the US firm’s growth in Letterkenny, adding that operations to date had left it “with a great deal of confidence in placing other work in this location”. He further suggested that development of further higher- skilled software operations could also lead it to look elsewhere here.
