EBS finance director Emer Finnan has resigned from the former building society “to pursue other opportunities”.

Ms Finnan, who was appointed finance director in 2007, is leaving the AIB-owned lender with immediate effect.

Staff were told of her departure in an internal circular yesterday.

Prior to joining EBS, Ms Finnan was a director of NCB Corporate Finance.

In 2010, she received pay of €310,000 from the nationalised building society
