FIANNA Fail is to oppose the Government Bill designed to clear the way for the sale of a 20 per cent stake in Telecom Eireann to the Swedish and Dutch national telephone companies. Mr Seamus Brennan, the party spokesman, said the party front bench decided yesterday to oppose against the Telcommunications (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill 1996 when it comes before the Dail next week.
