THE Dublin Liverpool ferry service may be reintroduced in early 1998, according to Cenargo International. The company, which has a 50 per cent shareholding in Merchant Ferries, has commissioned two large roll on/roll off passenger freight ferries with an option on two other vessels. Chairman Mr Michael Hendry said "serious consideration" is being given to using the vessels on a Liverpool Dublin service. "The ferries will be primarily designed as freight carriers but car passengers will also be carried", he said.
