THE demand for executives continues unabated

THE demand for executives continues unabated. The number of executive jobs advertised increased from 1,800 in the third quarter of 1995 to 1,836 in the third quarter of 1996, according to HAY-MSL Ireland.

They were also up on the second quarter of this year. The most buoyant sectors between the third quarter of 1995 and the third quarter of 1996 are engineering, up from 558 to 572, and data processing, up from 361 to 441. The demand for accountants dropped from 265 to 229, production from 140 to 127, and marketing/sales from 113 to 93.
