Playing the market will cost dealers and brokers less in future after the London Stock Exchange (LSE) yesterday promised to slash charges for trading British shares. The new pricing structure will apply to all shares but is aimed especially at the new trading system for dealings in the top 100 companies which comes into force from October 20th, the day the charge changes take effect.
