British regulators have fined and banned two former executives of the failed bank Northern Rock for misreporting the bank’s mortgage arrears figures.

David Baker, former deputy chief executive, has been banned from the industry and fined €570,000.

Richard Barclay, the bank’s former managing credit director, was fined £140,000 and banned from holding a senior position.– Copyright The Financial Times Limited 2010
