The European Commission competition ruling on the British Telecom takeover of Esat has been postponed following the decision of BT to give a number of specific assurances, the Commission confirmed yesterday. A decision from the Competition Directorate had been expected on the complaint by Eircom on March 15th but has been put back to the 28th.
