Mr Adrian Burke, former managing partner of Arthur Andersen, has been appointed chairman of the Chartered Accountants Joint Ethics Committee. He is the first Irish chairman of the body which sets ethical standards for the three institutes of chartered accountants in Ireland, Scotland and England and Wales.
