Esat Telecom has appointed Ms Angela Keegan as managing director of its consumer group replacing Ms Lucy Gaffney who is currently Esat Telecom's chief operations officer.

Ms Keegan joins Esat Telecom from Ireland On-line/Post-GEM where she was a member of its senior management team.

Ms Keegan previously worked with Gateway Computers where she managed the UK Ireland consumers' service and reception group and with Irish Life Assurance, where she was involved in the development of its call centre and consumer care function.
