Pretax profits at the Athlone based pharmaceutical development company, Elan Corporation, rose by 35 per cent from £42.1 million to £56.8 million in the year to March last.
Revenue jumped by 19 per cent from £118.9 million to £141.7 million, according to figures published yesterday.
