Elan Corporation has completed its acquisition of Segix Italia, a company based in Pomezia, Italy, which had product sales of approximately $25 million (€28 million) last year.

Segix employs 200 people in marketing, sales and manufacturing and has 55 sales representatives promoting products in the anti-infective, cardiovascular and CNS areas, largely to general practitioners.
