Restaurant chain Nando's is to create 28 jobs in Cork with the opening of its latest restaurant.

Restaurant chain Nando's is to create 28 jobs in Cork with the opening of its latest restaurant.

The group, which specialises in chicken dishes, already has four restaurants throughout the island of Ireland, employing 155 people.

The new restaurant will be located on Mahon Link Road in Cork, and joins existing outlets in Dundrum, Swords and Belfast.

The chain plans to open additional restaurants in Ireland this year, including two located in Dublin city centre.

Nando's was founded in 1987 in South Africa. It currently has restaurants in 30 countries around the world.
